“Here, is where I admit that I am, not all that I am
But what I am afraid to be… weak
Spilled out in the form of a prayer in poetry
Where I try not to be right
But understand, that I am human…”
Thembe is short for ‘Thembelihle’, a Xhosa name meaning ‘Beautiful Hope’
I’m born and raised in Grahamstown, South Africa but currently reside in England. I’ve been writing poetry for over ten years and have been performing them for slightly less. As every good gift comes from God, my hope is to share my poems and ultimately bring glory to Him.
I hope do hope you will enjoy reading them!
